Those of you who have been ordering from me for a while (oh hello you!) will know that I have been juggling a very busy cake business and a very hectic home life for the past 12 years.
I have finally plucked up the courage to move into business premises! I am still trying to decide whether to call it a shop or a unit - you'll understand why the confusion when you come and collect your cake from there for the first time - so I have decided to call it 'my place' until I decide for sure :)
So, my place is in Walton - just a stone's throw away from where I live in Bootle - and it is situated in Walton Cornerstone, which is a business enterprise and has a few other businesses that also operate from there, but I have my own entrance so you should hopefully be able to find me easily once my signage goes up. Some of you may remember Tilly's Cakery, who were in my place before me, and ran a similar business for roughly 6 years - Paul and Jenny, if you read this.....I hope I can be as successful and loved here as you were!
Anyway, I will be offering the same style and options as before - wedding cakes, birthday and celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cakesicles etc etc. Once I find my feet in my new place, I am hoping to be able to offer cakes/treats and possibly a coffee to take away...but I need to get settled before making any big decisions so for now, will be sticking to what I do best.
So, thank you for sticking with me as your cake maker - there is so much choice out there now that it really is humbling to have so many wonderful regular customers - I look forward to seeing you at my new place very soon!
